COVID-19: ''JAAN HAI TO JAHAN HAI"

As we know that,  the economies of all the countries  has been  affected due to COVID -19 pandemic and many countries have been placed under lock-down. Due to this, international  flights has been restricted, and also trains, buses, metros, cabs, domestic flights as well and due to this, tourism sector also affected.

We are communicating about the best precaution and hygiene measures to our staff and customers and what they can do to utilize this time in best possible ways. In time of such uncertainty, the risks of travelling should be known to all and they should also understand that they should only travel in cases of emergency.Otherwise stay home stay safe.



Lets us see some measures one must undertake while travelling domestically:

A.What are some safety measures for travelling during COVID-19?

1.If travelling via private vehicle, a person should always use disinfecting wipes to clean all the hard surfaces thoroughly. A washable or reusable seat cover should be taken along.

2.People must remember to not touch their faces.

3.Maintain distance from everyone, especially people showing symptoms of any illness.

4.Always carry a sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content to use when there is no access to soap and water.

5.While coughing or sneezing, use tissues.

6.Remember to wash hands regularly with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds,

Due to the outbreak of corona virus travelling is becoming less as options for travelling are not available.

when travel is not possible, one can make a list of their favorite places and discuss them with the travel agent, via call or email, to figure out the best time to visit. This time can also be used to plan the budget and prepare a thorough layout for the trip.

B.What are those alternatives to travelling?

1.Different  dishes can be explored on the internet and make  those dishes with interest.

2.People should also use this opportunity to spend quality time with family and create memories.

3.This time is also ideal to catch up on all the series and movies in the long list one made.

4.Household  and cleaning of  house are always something that need to be done.

C.What are the measures that need to be taken by travelers during the corona virus pandemic in India?

When travelling should allow by government, all travelers shall give an undertaking that they would undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days - 7 days paid institutional quarantine at their own cost, followed by 7 days isolation at home with self-monitoring of health before boarding.

Only for exceptional and compelling reasons such as cases of human distress, pregnancy, death in family, serious illness and parent(s) accompanied by children below 10 years, as assessed by the receiving states, home quarantine may be permitted for 14 days. 

Use of Aarogya Setu app shall be mandatory in such cases.
